Wednesday,  December 27
We got up real late after 8:30 and had breakfast.  Started to invoice this morning.  Not any biz at all.  Ruth and Nila were in and went to PO and Carl's.  Stanley and Dr. Beeler were here too.  Geo was down about 5:30.  Lucile came back with Papa from supper.  All went by the drug store and got some soap and cream.

Thursday, December 28

Still invoicing.  Ruth came in about 11.  We went to PO and depot.  Got notice of express package.  We went back again and got it.  Such a pretty  toilet set from McNown.  Geo came in while we were looking at it.  Made me feel bad because he sent me such a nice present.  Ruth's friends came about 11:30.  We bummed in the afternoon.  Geo was down at noon.  Said we'd go to Ruth's party.  I dressed when I went to Supper.  Byron took Lucile and we brought her home.  We had a really nice time.  Dr, Beeler butted in and came with Lucile.  She was mad!  Wrote 5 cards.

Friday, December 29
Invoicing still.  Geo was in several times.  They commented on his building.  Lucile and the boys washed.  I brought Juanita to town with me and she stayed with Geo most of the day.  Bummed with Ruth and the girls.  Billy Wilson and Bernice McGarvy.  Geo was in after Dad went to supper.  We were having quite a chat when in came Lucile.  We three went to the show.  Began raining.  Real muddy when we went home.  We went by the rink.

Saturday, December 30
Cloudy.  Misting rain.  Then froze and tried to sleet and snow.  Got colder and colder.  No biz at all.
Cleaned up good.  Geo was in several times.  Lucile came down and we went to the Creamer's hdw sale.  Ruth, Nila and I went to PO. Didn't go to supper. Not a soul was in there  except Miss Sager.  Dad went to show.  Geo phoned that he couldn't leave, was sorry for I was here all alone.  Started another laundry bag.

Sunday, December 31
Sunshiny but cool.  Went to SS but didn't stay for Church.  Mr. and Mrs. Strugil came just before Geo did.  He wasn't coming back to town with Lucile and Icel.  I called him and then we went walking.  Then to see Ethel Sutton.  I showed him the little house for us.  Ha! Lucile had a bunch of kids at home.  Four girls stayed all night.  Geo came about 7:30.  Was going ro surprise them all but kids were already there.  We went to church and then sat on the porch awhile.  After Edgar passed us at the gate.  ha!  Then Byron threw out fire crackers and Geo hiked.  Awful time.
