Total Nostalgia! To Trix from 'Ole St. Nick- 1950 Edition
Every Christmas from the time I was a young girl up until just recently my Grandmother (Mimi) and my Mom would tell me about "to Trix from 'ole St. Nick". In her older days after her eight children had grown up and moved out on their own, Trixie would buy herself a small gift. She would wrap it and put a card on it that always said, "To Trix From 'Ole St. Nick". My Mimi even had some of the tags Trixie had used and would set out empty boxes wrapped up and put the tags on them. I always loved hearing that story so imagine my delight when we found her actual 1950's era Christmas card and gift lists from several years.
